I specialize in Portrait, Lifestyle, Travel, and Architectural photography. I enjoy good people, good music, and good food.
I grew up in an artistic family where music, literature, and the visual arts were celebrated. After studying music formally through undergraduate and graduate programs I began working in graphic design. While working as a designer my interest in photography grew and I finally bought a camera and started shooting.
In addition to still photography, which is the bulk of my output, I'm working as a Director of Photography on independent film & media projects. I'm also the Creative Director for COCOON, a design studio my partner and I formed at the beginning of 2009.
I'm available for assignment world wide. I spend several weeks a year in other countries and cultures and always enjoy projects that take me to new places. So far, my travels have taken me to nearly thirty countries, often for extended periods of time.
